CASE STUDIES: George Walther Speaking From Experience™

Situation

From 1980 through 1995, George Walther was a full-time international speaker. Acknowledged as an expert in boosting personal performance, he wrote articles and books, and developed audio programs and training tapes that were published worldwide and translated into many languages.

In 1995, George chose to become a full-time parent and a part-time speaker. His speaking schedule dropped to only 10 engagements a year. During this time period George didn't publish any new books, articles, tapes or audio programs.

In 2003 George was ready to return to public speaking on a full time basis and needed an effective re-introduction to the speaking circuit.

Solution

The strategy was to turn George Walther into his own brand. Through George's life experiences, he tells his story and motivates readers and listeners. The logo, website and collateral materials all had to speak for George and his ability to make an impact on others as a motivational speaker. To demonstrate this, we made use of quotation marks in his logo and the color red to emphasize George's signature on letters and was a remnant of the red phone cord in his old logo.

The result? George is back on track with a successful full-time career.
